First-time Christian mom holding her four-month-old son, celebrating faith, motherhood, and God's blessings

Faith, Motherhood, and Business: My Journey + Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Motherhood and owning a business is a big adventure, but it's one filled with faith, love, and lots of grace. I wanted to write this blog post in a way that's simple, friendly, and easy to connect with — like a chat between friends. After all, being a first-time mom and a Christian business owner is a journey that has stretched my heart in ways I never imagined.

Motherhood is Kingdom Work

Before I became a mom, people would tell me how important motherhood was. But now, living it day by day, I truly see it: motherhood is Kingdom work. Every diaper changed, every prayer whispered over my baby, every late night — it's all part of raising a little disciple and lover of the Lord.

My sweet baby is almost four months old now, and he is truly a blessing. His smiles, giggles, and bright little eyes fill my days with so much joy. Has it been easy? No way! Motherhood is a blessed rollercoaster — full of ups, downs, and moments where only God's strength carries you through.

Lessons I'm Learning

God has been teaching me a lot during this season:

  • Patience: Babies don’t follow our plans — they have their own schedules! I’ve had to learn to slow down and trust God's timing.

  • Grace: Giving myself grace when things don't go perfectly. God is not asking me to be a "perfect mom," but a faithful one.

  • Strength in Faith: Some days are tough. But leaning into Scripture and prayer gives me the strength I need.

  • Never Stop Praying: Prayer has become my lifeline — for my baby, for myself, and for my husband too. Balancing being a wife, mom, and business owner isn't an easy task, but it is so rewarding. Some days I feel stretched thin, but I know it's God's way of reminding me to lean on Him and trust His perfect plan. I'm leading by faith and by example, knowing that my little one is watching.

Motherhood and Running a Business

Running a Christian business while raising a baby is no small task. I have to lean on God's wisdom every single day. Sometimes it means working during nap time, and sometimes it means letting go of my to-do list to enjoy a cuddle session. And that's okay. God's plans are bigger and better than mine.

If you’re a mom, I hope you know that your work — both in your home and wherever God calls you — matters deeply. You are raising warriors for the Kingdom!
